Wife of the Ooni of Ife Attends the Naming Ceremony of Incarcerated #Endsars Protester

Kemisola Ogunniyi, an #EndSARS protester who was two months pregnant at the time she was arrested by soldiers in Akure gave birth to a bouncing baby boy.

She was delivered of her baby boy while in custody on the 16th of June and earlier today the 23rd of June the naming ceremony was held. The newborn was named Okikiola Freedom Erinponmile.

In attendance were people from the general public and the wife of the Ooni of Ife, Prophetess Naomi Ogunwusi.

Kemisola was arrested after the violence that erupted in the wake of the October 2020 #EndSARS protests. She was accused of being one of those that set the state secretariat of the All Progressive Congress (APC) ablaze.
