A recent video making rounds online has shown the moment a young man was forced to kneel and apologize to his mother by Oba community youths who disciplined him for reportedly beating her. 

From the visuals, it appears that the young man had been dealt with by the community head and youths as multiple stripes could be seen on his back. However, he was still made to apologize to the aged mother so as to restore upon him lost blessings.

The young man was seen being told what to tell his aged mother who sat in in front of their house as he crawled up to her.
