Burna Boy, on the other hand, was unable to take home the Best Global Music Performance and Best Global Music Album prizes.

This year, he was defeated by Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini, and Nomcebo Zikode of South Africa in the same competition.

Recall that on March 14, 2021, Burna Boy took home the 63rd Annual Grammy Award for Best Global Music Album.

Thanks to his first Grammy, he became the first Nigerian artist to win in this category.
Burna Boy’s “Love Damini” album also failed to take home the trophy for best Global Music Album.

The 65th Grammy award ceremony, 2023 took place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday.
