Highly celebrated Nigerian singer, Wizkid, has, unfortunately, lost his mother, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun at the age of 55.
According to confirmed reports from His longtime manager(Sunday Are), Wizkid’s mum, Mrs Jane Dolapo died in the early hours of Friday, at about 1:30 am on the 18th of August, 2023. She was loved by all and her three children, Wizkid(Ayo Balogun), Yetunde and Lade Balogun.

As of the time of this report, the singer is yet to make any official report of the colossal loss and the cause of death is not yet made public. This is an extremely unfortunate situation for the Grammy winner who celebrated his mum’s 54th birthday last year.
