“Growing up my parents always had positive things to say about Nigeria and beautiful stories of how Nigeria was developed with cash crops from different regions of the country North, South, East and Western region. But as we all know, a lot of that beauty appears to have gone behind the curtains. It’s sad, especially for a country with a growing, vibrant and brilliant youth population.
But I am still holding on to the idea of Nigeria that my parents planted in my heart. My hope is especially strengthened by the resilience of our actions and loudness of our voices during the EndSARS protests. The the spirit of the Nigerian youth will not be suppressed by bad governance and the ruling class.
I am positive that Nigeria will be great again and again but we must continue to move as a united force to continue to demand good leadership and development for NIGERIANS. The most beautiful thing about us is even in the time of hardship no one can take away our smile and resolve.
