Fans of celebrated media personality, Toke Makinwa have called her out after her advice for the ongoing national elections and an old post she made about a year ago.

She had a different opinion on her dad’s candidate, who ended up winning the election over hers. The show host and actress then advised her fans not to lose friends/family over the election, sharing more details on what seemed to be her personal experience from the previous election four years ago.

In a tweet she shared earlier, she wrote;

Last 4 years my dad and I were on opposing sides, we aired our views over a glass of wine, we left the same house to go to the polling unit, casted our votes, his candidate won and we had some wine after again with no one gloating. Pls don’t lose friends/family over the election.

While this seemed like a bit of good and proper advice, netizens believed that her story was made up just to buttress her point as her parent died a long time ago.

Twitter investigators went ahead to dig out her previous post from last year where she claimed she lost her parents 29 years ago when she was only 8.

After thorough investigations, netizens have concluded that she must be referring to one of her sugar daddies and not a biological father.
