Veteran Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie and his first wife, May Edochie have lost their first child, Kambilichukwu Edochie to the cold hands of death.
Kambilichukwu Leo Edochie lost his life on Thursday morning, the 30th of March after having a seizure. He was said to have been rushed to the hospital immediately but unfortunately did not make it.

According to reports, the 16-year-old first son of Yul and grandson of the highly respected actor(Pete Edochie), Kambilichukwu was said to have read all night in preparation for an exam the following morning.
He was reported to have joined his friends to play football after his exam that morning during which he had the seizure.
The news of his death came as a shock to most Nigerians and fans of his parents world-over as the deceased boy only celebrated his 16th birthday 2 months ago. He clocked 16 on January 4th.
On his birthday just 12 weeks ago(January 4th), Yul Edochie had celebrated his son, praying for God’s guidance and protection upon him, he wrote;
A very happy 16th birthday to my first son, Kambilinachukwu Leo Yul-Edochie.
May God lead and protect you always.

Confirming the news of his death to Vanguard, a member of Yul’s family said the young boy died on Thursday.
She said:
“After his exam in school, he joined his mates to play football and he developed a seizure and was rushed to the Mother and Child Hospital. All efforts by the doctors to resuscitate him proved abortive.”
