Veteran Nigerian singer and songwriter Asa is back with another one this new year as she dropped her latest single titled Ocean.
Ocean by Asa was produced by popular record producer, P.Priime and comes after the release of her recently released track titled “Mayana”also produced by P.Prime.

The new song comes ahead of Asa’s fifth album which she revealed in a recent interview is titled “FIVE” and expected to be out this year.

Naijabeat recall that Asa in a statement early this year revealed that her father abused her mother and it haunted her for years.
In a chat with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, TV host, the 39-year-old opened up about her father’s abusive nature.
She said the late cinematographer would often abuse her mother and deal an excessively harsh hand on his kids.
Upload your Song“He’s austere and disciplined. I take those but what I’m not is the way he brought us up. He was a disciplinarian and, yes, abusive to my mum. With the kids, he overdid it to keep us straight. It was too confusing,” she said.
