Netflix Initiates An Affordable Mobile Plan With New Partial Download Feature

Streaming giant Netflix has introduced a mobile plan across 43 nations in sub-Saharan Africa, including Nigeria.

The mobile plan was introduced on 29th June 2021 and has a unique ‘Partial Play Download’ feature that allows users to stream their favorite titles before any download is complete.

According to data made available by Netflix, the mobile plan is a 50-60 percent reduction in the price of the basic offering of the platform and is available to users in Nigeria from N1,200 per month alongside other plans including basic, standard, and premium

.

With the ‘Partial Play Download’ feature, Netflix has eradicated the issue of forbidden access to titles that are not fully downloaded.
