Nigerian cooking queen, Hilda Baci dethroned after Iris man cooked for 119 hours

Highly celebrated Nigerian cooking Queen, Hilda Baci has now been dethroned after a chef from Ireland, Alan Fisher cooked for 119 hours and 57 minutes.

The organising body of Guinness World Records (GWR) took to their official Twitter handle to unveil the new King of Cooking, Alan Fifhr in the early hours of today.

In the tweet, GWR wrote:

Nigerian cooking queen Hilda Baci has been dethroned 😳

Alan Fisher from Ireland cooked for an incredible 119 hours and 57 minutes at his restaurant in Japan 🥄

26-year-old Hilda Effiong Bassey also known as Hilda Baci was announced as the Guinness World record holder for the longest cooking marathon (individual) on the 13th of June 2023 after cooking for approved 93 hours 11 minutes. The new record holder, Alan Fisher who has now just surpassed this record by over 24 hours cooked for 119 hours 57 minutes.
