Man accused of abusing, raping infecting his girlfriend’s 17-year-old daughter with HIV is remanded by the Delta Court.
The suspect was remanded in Ogwashi-uku Correctional Facility on Friday, January 27, 2023 by a Magistrate Court in Ibusa, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State for allegedly raping the teenage girl.

The activist in charge of the case, Marvin Mordi, claims that the suspect who is accused of sexually abusing the girl since she was 11 years old also gave her the HIV infection.
Marvin Mordi further claimed that the victim’s mother knew about the sexual assault but chose to conceal it out of concern for their relationship.
Comrade Israel Joe, a well-known activist who corroborated the occurrence, said that the perpetrator also infected the victim’s mother with HIV.
“Today, a magistrate court in Ibusa remanded this man who infested a woman with HIV and also has been defiling the woman’s daughter. I saw this man at State CID Asaba yesterday and thanked God he was not released hence the jungle justice would have taken place. The woman’s daughter has also been infected with HIV by this hungry looking demonic animal, engraved with vicious callousness and decorated wickedness.,” he wrote.
