The presidential election in eight states, including Delta, Abuja, Cross River, Nasarawa, Edo, Abia, Enugu, and Lagos, was won by Peter Obi of the Labour Party. He was proclaimed the winner in these states’ presidential election on February 25.
The official INEC results for Imo State show that Obi defeated Bola Tinubu of the APC, who received only 66,171 votes, with 352,904 votes. Atiku Abubakar of the PDP received 30,042 votes, while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the NNPP received 1,536 votes.

In Abuja, Obi secured 281,717 votes, Bola Tinubu of the ruling APC got 90,902 votes while Atiku Abubakar of the PDP got 74,199 votes.
There were 478,923 registered voters in Abuja, therefore Mr. Obi received almost 59% of the votes cast. Tinubu received 19% of the vote while Atiku received 15% of the vote.
Out of the six area councils—Gwagwalada, Abaji, Kwali, Gwagwalada, Bwari and Abuja Municipal, Labour Party won four, while the APC won two.

Cross River State Election Results
The final results for Cross River as announced by INEC showed Obi polled a total of 179,917 to beat rival Bola Tinubu of the APC who secured 130,520. Coming third in the polls is PDP’s Atiku Abubakar who polled 95,425 while NNPP’s Rabiu Kwankwaso polled 1,644 votes.
Nasarawa Election Results
Peter Obi also won the Nasarawa state presidential election.
According to the results released by the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) collation officer in Nasarawa State, Professor Ishaya Tanko, Obi received 191,361 votes to defeat his closest competitor, APC’s Bola Tinubu, who received 172,922 votes, and PDP’s Atiku Abubakar, who secured 147, 091 votes.
Edo State Election Results
Prof. Nyaudoh Ndaeyo, INEC Coallation Officer in the state, said that Obi received 331,163 votes to beat Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who received 144,471 and 89,583 votes, respectively.
Abia State Election Results
Prof. Abel Ezeorah of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Alike-Ikwo (FUNAI), the state returning officer for the presidential election, announced the results at the INEC state headquarters in Umuahia. According to him, Obi received 327,095 votes out of a total of 381,681 ballots polled to win the election.
Atiku Abubakar of the PDP received 22,676 votes, while Bola Tinubu of the APC received 8,914 votes to place third.
Lagos State Election Results
In Lagos state, Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi beat All Progressives Congress presidential candidate Bola Tinubu.
The former governor of Anambra state and Labour Party candidate received 582,354 votes, defeating his nearest challenger and All Progressives Congress candidate, Bola Tinubu, who received 572,606 votes.
The PDP received 75,750 votes, while the NNPC received 8442 votes.
There are 1,347152 registered voters.
Total number of valid votes: 1271451
64278 votes were rejected.
1,335729 votes were cast in total.
Recall that Tinubu served two terms as Governor of Lagos State.
Enugu State Election Results
According to the results declared by the state’s Independent National Electoral Commission collation officer, Prof. Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe, Obi received 428,640 votes to defeat Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, who received 15, 749 votes, and Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who received 4, 772 votes. Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian Peoples Party finished fourth with 1808.
