Nigerian super talented soul singer Bukola Elemide professionally known as Asa, sat with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu in episode 9 of the “Blackbox Interview” and answered some questions that revealed many hidden stories about her life.
In the first part of the two-part interview with Ebuka, Asa talked about the beginning of self-consciousness, education in Jos, bullying experience in Nigeria and her relocation to Paris. She mentioned that music had been in her interest since when she was pretty young and the thought of having a clear direction of where to go made her forget about the trauma she faced in FGC, Jos.
Also mentioned in part one of the interview, was her experience as a 4-days shoe seller at Alade market.
In the second part, Asa talked more about family, her international acceptance and new music for 2022.
