Belgium goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, has lambasted his teammates, including Romelu Lukaku, following their Euro 2020 quarter-final 2-1 loss to Italy on Friday night.
Courtois said Belgium players offered Italy their first goal effortlessly.
The Real Madrid goalkeeper added that Roberto Martinez’s men had just two chances during the clash, claiming that Italy merits winning the match.

Italy won against Belgium at Allianz Arena to progress to the last-4, thanks to goals from Nicolo Barella and Lorenzo Insigne, as Lukaku’s goal was not sufficient to keep the red devils in the tournament.

“We had two opportunities, but their keeper made a good save and I think we gave the first goal away a bit too easily.
