Slater chose to announce the death of American actor Michael B Jordan to his parent which indeed got them in a high state of shock.
His parents were heading out in the video when he called them back to ask if they’d heard that “Michael B Jordan passed away at 35”.

Michael B Jordan seems like the most appropriate name to use to get this proper reaction unfortunately as he seems more like a family.
16-year-old Slater simply laughed at their reactions, while his parents simply couldn’t stand the news. The father, Courtney B. Vance was the first to notice that his son was joking and later called his bluff.
The post has got a lot of backlash and has since been taken off Slater’s TikTok page.
